How do I publish a story?
Sign in and click Publish a Story. Give it a title and a category, write or paste your story, and click Publish. Until you publish, it's a draft that only you can see, and it saves automatically as you write.
How do I edit a story or add chapters?
Go to your Dashboard and click the story. From there you can change the details, edit the text, and add new chapters. Changes to a published story show up for readers right away.
Can I delete a story?
A draft you never published is deleted right away. A story that has been published works a little differently: deleting it hides it from readers immediately, and our team finishes the removal shortly after. That protects you from losing work by accident. If you change your mind before then, publish it again or contact us.
What if I click “New Story” and it shows an old draft?
If you started a story and didn’t finish it, the New Story page brings that draft back so you don’t lose it. “Discard draft” clears it and gives you a blank page. It only ever affects an unpublished draft, never a story you’ve already published.
I forgot my password.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. You can reset it with your security question or a link sent to your email. If neither works, the same page lets you ask us for help.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and request account deletion. Your stories are hidden right away, and the account is removed once our team processes it. If you change your mind before then, let us know.
Does SmutLib cost anything?
No. Reading and publishing on SmutLib are free, with no ads.
